(APSI), the wholly-owned U.S. subsidiary of Aker Philadelphia Shipyard ASA. The MT Ohio was later joined by sister ships Louisiana, Ohio and Texas, which were received by Crowley later in 2015 and 2016 as the first-ever tankers to receive the American Bureau of Shipping’s (ABS) LNG-Ready Level 1 approval. The 50,000 dead-weight-tons (dwt) product tankers are based on a proven Hyundai Mipo Dockyards (HMD). The vessels are 600 feet long and are capable of carrying 330,000 barrels of crude oil or refined petroleum products.
